About Me

 

I am a family man with two gorgeous girls. I have loved drawing since I was a young lad. I'm very fussy when it comes to my art, and probably too fussy, but as many people say to me I'm a perfectionist. I got my first tattoo when I was just 16 (naughty I know.) I picked up my first tattoo machine when I was 18 and now I have, I could say, twenty years experience. However, that's not strictly true. As tattooing became just a hobby and I found myself working in other trades. Until eight years ago, when I decided to follow my heart and take my passion on as a vocation. So I helped out in a studio in Southampton and still do to this day, but only when I'm available and needed. Working in the shop helped me to realise what people wanted from a tattoo artist, and I also found that most people wanted me to visit them at their home, rather than them coming to the shop. Also, I found some even got embarrassed or were worried when other clients came in to the studio. After taking all this into consideration, five years ago I started to go to my clients, and now find myself all over the place. Although, I don't mind, I actually prefer it, at least I'm not stuck in a shop.

Although this is hard work, I enjoy it! I like meeting different people and getting to know them. I also really love to design. However, I'm always on the go; I'm on the road a lot, spending time with clients, consultations, and doing the tattoo's. I also find myself working when I should be relaxing at home, busy drawing designs for my clients, sorting my portfolio and this web site, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Seeing their faces when I've given them their tattoo's, or when I show them a design I've drawn for them, it makes it all worth while.

Respect and Reputation means a lot to me. Respect for my clients and their properties, come high on my list and giving them the best I can, will surely give me a good Reputation!
